Insurance and Payment Information
Dublin Urgent Care is committed to making convenient medical care accessible to insured and uninsured patients throughout Dublin and the surrounding Tri-Valley area. The cost of a visit depends on the services provided, whether diagnostic testing or procedures are required, and the terms of the patient’s insurance plan.
Insurance benefits and patient responsibility vary by carrier and individual policy. Patients are encouraged to contact their insurance company before visiting if they have questions about urgent care coverage, copays, deductibles, or network participation.
Insurance Plans
Dublin Urgent Care may accept a variety of major insurance plans. However, participation can vary by plan type, medical group, employer, and individual policy, even when two patients have insurance through the same carrier.
Dublin Urgent Care works with a variety of insurance plans. Because coverage and network participation can vary, please contact your insurance provider or our clinic to confirm that your specific plan is accepted before receiving care.
Copays and Deductibles
Copays, deductibles, coinsurance, and other out-of-pocket costs are determined by each patient’s insurance plan. These amounts are not set by Dublin Urgent Care and may differ from the amount charged for a primary care appointment.
Patients may be asked to pay an applicable copay or estimated patient responsibility at the time of service. Additional balances may become due after the insurance company processes the claim and issues an explanation of benefits.
High-Deductible Health Plans
Patients with high-deductible insurance plans may be responsible for part or all of the visit cost until the annual deductible has been met. Dublin Urgent Care may submit eligible claims directly to the insurance carrier, but the final patient responsibility will be determined after the claim is processed.
Patients who are unsure about their deductible status should contact the member services number on the back of their insurance card. Clinic staff may help confirm basic eligibility, but verification does not guarantee payment by the insurance company.
Self-Pay Options
Patients without health insurance are welcome to visit Dublin Urgent Care and use available self-pay options. Payment may be required at the time of service, and the total cost will depend on the evaluation, testing, procedures, and treatment provided.
Additional charges may apply for laboratory testing, X-rays, medications, medical supplies, or procedures. The clinic should publish exact self-pay rates only after its pricing structure has been finalized.
Recommended Disclaimer:
The self-pay visit price may not include laboratory testing, imaging, medication, procedures, medical supplies, or outside services. Please contact Dublin Urgent Care for current pricing information.
Out-of-Network Insurance
Dublin Urgent Care may be able to provide care to patients whose plans are considered out of network. However, patients may be responsible for paying for services at the time of the visit and requesting reimbursement directly from their insurance company.
Out-of-network benefits vary significantly by plan. Patients should contact their insurance provider before receiving care to understand whether reimbursement is available and what documentation may be required.
What to Bring
Patients using insurance should bring a current photo ID, insurance card, and a method of payment for any applicable copay, deductible, or patient responsibility. Providing accurate insurance information at check-in can help reduce delays in claim processing.
Patients should also bring a list of current medications, known allergies, relevant medical conditions, and information about any healthcare providers involved in their ongoing care. Minors should be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian unless alternative authorization has been arranged.
